EMO 2017 m&h CONNECTED PROBING

18 September 2017

We invite you to visit the m&h stand at the EMO. At the m&h stand E30 in Hall 3, we will present you m&h CONNECTED PROBING.

m&h Connected
Probing is Hexagon’s platform for production-related measuring and information technology. Measuring on the machine tool, whether for workpiece, temperature or tool control, is one of the most valuable sources of information regarding the machining process. In conjunction with automated data acquisition, feedback loop and job automation based on a comprehensive data analysis, we are achieving a new level of efficiency and quality in production. We are looking forward to your visit!

m&h DataGuide
The m&h DataGuide is the base for intelligent connected systems. It manages different machine tools, measuring projects and feature information. Q-DAS compliant provision of all measured characteristic data is simplified with automated post generation. This ensures clear communication between the machine tool and Q-DAS with the correct feature information. As part of m&h CONNECTED PROBING, m&h DataGuide is essential for the correct communication and provision of measurement data to Q-DAS and supports the customer towards Industry 4.0.

ICS Solution – Intelligent Connected Systems
The Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence stand will feature a live presentation of manufacturing intelligence principles as the company brings together its CAD/CAM, metrology and statistical process control solutions to create an automated feedback loop that demonstrates how quality drives productivity in a shop-floor production environment. At this year’s show, we are excited to be demonstrating a system that will allow visitors to see this happening right in front of their eyes. Modern manufacturing is all about the intelligent use of data to inform decisions and make continuous efficiency improvements, and we look forward to speaking with EMO attendees about how smart technology can be used to increase productivity.

m&h NC Gage
Also showing at EMO is the latest version of m&h NC Gage, the specialist software for handling machine-tool probe systems. m&h NC Gage allows the flexible measuring of arcs, cylinders, cones and many other geometrical forms. As part of Connected Probing, NC Gage enables using measuring results for several types of automatic data operations.m&h NC Gage permits reliable and very precise measurements in modern lathe-milling centres. A range of special functions developed specifically for these machines help simplify operation. For example, the C axes can be aligned entirely automatically, even in unmanned operation, based on grooves, bridges or areas. m&h NC Gage is available on many machines with controls by Fanuc and Mitsubishi. NC Gage technology is now available directly from Mazak and Okuma as a standard option for many machines.

m&h 3DFI JobMaster
Measuring, reporting and Best-Fit – Automation for 3D Form Inspect. Flexibility with low production costs in high quality is the “magic triangle” for every company in the aerospace or the tool and form making industries. However, quality control must provide useful support as part of the whole system. As a driver of innovation in the field of machine tool measurement, m&h has created a software module for m&h 3D Form Inspect which increases your productivity, reduces production costs and guarantees high flexibility – together this is m&h CONNECTED PROBING.

New Infrared Touch Probe Makes Its Debut
m&h has announced plans to introduce the extremely compact and innovative IRP40.02 infrared touch probe system at this year’s EMO. Thanks to its extremely compact and robust design, the IRP40.02 infrared touch probe needs only very small space on the machine and can also be used for applications in extremely limited spaces. Unprecedented battery life of up to 800 hours in continuous use ensures manual interventions are kept to a minimum and do not disrupt the automatic process. Costly machine downtime is also reduced, cutting both process costs and operational expenses.

Visit us in hall 3 on booth E30 and inform yourself about the opportunities for a future-oriented production.
